We’re with you every step of the way

Our testing cycle is completed quickly with results back to clients within days. Shrimp MultiPath™ performance has been assessed and validated by Third Party ISO17025 assessors which follow the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) Manual for Validation of Diagnostic Assays.

  • Step 1

     

    Collect Tissue Samples

    The first step is to take tissue samples and place them into clean tubes with 70% laboratory-grade ethanol. We have easy-to-follow instructional videos here that show step by step how to collect tissue samples. Our team of Health Experts are also here to help if you have questions: info@genics.com

  • Submit Tissue Samples

    The next step is to request a Genics customer portal account, where you can submit your samples and request shipping to be booked for you. Once you’re registered, you can ship your tissue samples to our ISO17025-certified service laboratories. You can do this via your preferred courier (e.g. DHL, FedEx, etc.)

    Quality Control Check & Data Analysis

    Next, Genics will receive your samples at our certified laboratory, complete a quality control check, and process tissue samples (Total Nucleic Acid extraction, reverse transcription, PCR). We’ll let you know when your samples arrive and are given the all-clear. Genics will perform data analysis on our proprietary software, generating a detailed report. This is sent express to the farmer with an option of a follow-up call, or meeting (face-to-face or video chat) to discuss details and opportunities.

  • Farm Management & Improved Production

    The information in the report is vital to improving farming performance. Our clients implement decisions such as increased aeration, reduce feed rates, specific culling, early harvest, premium prices for sale etc. At this stage clients will often ask us for an ongoing Health Management Plan. PLEASE NOTE: A copy of this completed Declaration must be placed on both the outside (in a plastic sleeve) and inside of your parcel. Please take a photo of your completed form and email to info@genics.com

SHIPPING NOTICE – If the shipping company, DHL for example, consider the ethanol a dangerous good, store your samples for 24 hours (preferably in the fridge), and then tip off the ethanol leaving the samples moist. Small amounts of ethanol preserving a sample is an exempt dangerous good and can be shipped. To save money and time ensure your parcel is not too large. It needs only be large enough for your samples.
