For example, only Shrimp MultiPath™ has DNA, RNA and reverse transcription (RT) efficiency quality controls for every sample in every PCR well. This gives clients 100% confidence that the DNA and RNA were intact and extracted using quality procedures and that chemistry used in the RT and PCR process are of the finest quality. 100% proficiency
As part of Genics Services Laboratories ongoing commitment to the highest possible quality standards, we participate in Proficiency or Ring Testing programs. This is where an independent assessor supplies blinded/coded samples to a range of diagnostic testing laboratories, including Genics Service Laboratories, where we use Shrimp MultiPathTM.
In our most recent July 2021 Assessment Report, Genics Service Laboratories passed 100% of assays when testing for WSSV and YHV-1.
Simultaneous pathogen screening
No other testing platform offers simultaneous detection of 13 pathogens in your sample in one PCR well, whilst also including in situ quality control assays at the same time. This has been achieved by the use of proprietary Genics total nucleic acid extraction which is the RNA plus DNA component combined.
It translates to simultaneous detection of both DNA and RNA pathogens in your tissue samples allowing non-bias quantitative results of loading of one pathogen compared to another within your same tissue sample.
